Daniel is a self taught artist, living and working in Melbourne, Australia. His portraiture reflects precise pencil strokes that create a realistic impression, yet still maintain a creative element. The study of buildings, organic elements and detail are what inspire Daniel's work. Charcoal, graphite and ink are Daniel's primary mediums, which help to create recognisable imagery. 

Daniel approaches his work with a methodical process which takes time to section of small portions of the canvas. This process often takes months to create the desired visual and Daniel is always working to improve his techniques.
